Everything Battery Health does — and nothing it doesn't
A focused set of features that answer real questions: how healthy is my battery, what's draining it, and how do I make it last.
Battery Health avoids the feature bloat common to battery apps. No fake "repair" tools, no junk cleaning, no background tasks that drain the very battery it monitors. Each feature below solves a specific, real problem.
Estimated capacity, honestly labeled
The headline number: how much charge your battery holds versus when it was new. Battery Health infers this from observed charging behavior and — crucially — tells you how confident it is in the number.
- Inferred from real charge sessions, not a single raw reading
- High/Medium/Low confidence reflects your hardware's available data
- Trended over time so you see degradation, not just a snapshot
Every charge, tracked and scored
Plug in and Battery Health records the session: how long it took, how much charge was added, the temperature, and how stable the power was. A 4-point quality rating (Speed, Temperature, Stability, Completion) replaces a single vague score.
- Automatic session detection on power connect
- Compare chargers and cables by observed performance
- History retained for 7 days (free) or 90 days (Pro)
See which apps cost you charge
With Usage Access granted, Battery Health estimates per-app battery impact using Android's UsageStats. It's honest about the limits of that data — these are estimates, not measurements — but they point you at the right suspects.
- Apps ranked by estimated drain
- Accuracy disclaimers where the data is soft
- Helps separate the screen, background syncs, and runaway apps
- Screen34%
- Maps22%
- Browser14%

Protection before damage
Set charge-level alerts at 80%, 90%, or 100% to avoid leaving your battery at full charge for hours. Get warned when the battery runs hot or drains fast while idle. Alerts are cooldown-throttled so they help rather than pester.
- Charge-level, overheat, and fast-drain alerts
- Custom thresholds on Pro for your specific habits
- All evaluation on-device — alerts work offline
Coaching grounded in your data
Rule-based recommendations surface patterns the app sees in your charging history — sustained high temperatures, overnight drain, long stretches at 100%. No AI, no cloud — just rules evaluated locally against your data.
- Tips tied to your actual sessions, not generic advice
- Configurable thresholds, fully offline
- Clear about what's a suggestion versus a fact
- Charge peaked at 100% for 3h — try unplugging sooner
- Battery ran warm during 2 sessions
- Overnight drain averaged 4% — healthy
- Use the 80% alert to reduce dwell time

Estimated battery health
Why we say “estimated”
Every health number is an estimate — and we tell you how good.
Android doesn't expose a simple battery-health percentage. Battery Health infers capacity from how your device actually charges, then labels each result with a confidence level so you know what to trust.
Charge-counter chip present. Readings are reliable.
Estimated from voltage curves. Useful, less precise.
Limited hardware data. Treated as a rough indicator.
Most battery apps invent a confident number. We’d rather be honest: a low-confidence 85% means less than a high-confidence 90% — and you deserve to know the difference. How estimation works →
