About
Why build an honest battery app?
Because the alternatives made us uncomfortable. This is the thinking behind Battery Health.
The problem with most battery apps
Open the Play Store and search for "battery health." You'll find apps that promise to "repair" your battery (they can't), apps that show a single authoritative percentage with no indication it's an estimate, apps that require an account for no reason, and apps whose subscription pops up before you've seen a single useful screen. Many want permissions they don't need, and many send data to servers you can't inspect.
None of this helps you understand your battery. It helps someone else's metrics.
The principles behind Battery Health
- No fake precision. Battery health is an estimate. We label it as one and show the confidence. An app that hides this is selling certainty it doesn't have.
- Privacy by default. Your battery data describes your daily life — when you charge, how fast you drain, which apps you use. That belongs on your device, not a server we control.
- No unnecessary permissions. The dashboard works the moment you install. Live monitoring and drain insights are opt-in, and the app is honest about why each permission helps.
- No subscription trap. A one-time upgrade removes ads and adds power features. We don't rent your battery app back to you monthly.
- Useful, not cluttered. No junk cleaner, no fake "boost," no features that exist only to justify a price. Each thing Battery Health does solves a real question.
What we won't claim
We won't claim to "repair" or "calibrate" your battery in a way that restores lost capacity — that's not physically possible through software. We won't claim a precise health percentage we can't actually measure. And we won't claim features the app doesn't have. If Battery Health can't do something, we'd rather you know.
Try the honest version.
Free to download. Your battery data stays on your device.
